Terms and Conditions

1. PREAMBLE
These general conditions of sale (hereinafter the “GTC”) apply to all reservations of accommodation services and related services offered by the Selayar Turtle Bay Resort hotel, located in Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as “the ‘Hotel’), through the website https://selayarturtlebay.com.
2. RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION
2.1 Reservation:
Guests can make a reservation online via the Hotel’s website. The information required for the reservation includes the dates of stay, the number of occupants as well as the personal information of the person responsible for the reservation (surname, first name, telephone number, e-mail and country of origin).
2.2 Validation of the reservation:
To validate the reservation, the customer must pay a deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount of the reservation or, at his convenience, the full amount of the stay.
This payment can be made by credit card via a secure online payment system.
The reservation will be considered definitive upon receipt of the deposit or the total amount.
2.3 Special case:
In the event that the reservation takes place less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, the customer will have to pay the full amount of the reservation at the time of booking online.
2.4 Confirmation:
Once the reservation has been made, the Hotel will send a confirmation to the customer by e-mail. The reservation will be considered final upon receipt of this confirmation.
3. PRICE AND PAYMENT
3.1 Price:
Prices displayed on the Hotel’s website are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and include applicable taxes and fees, unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment:
Full or partial payment, according to the terms specified when booking, must be made by credit card to confirm the reservation.
4. CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION
4.1 Cancellation:
In the event of cancellation of a reservation by a customer, the reimbursement of the sums paid is governed by the following terms:
- Full refund if the cancellation takes place more than 15 days before the scheduled arrival date.
- Reimbursement of 50% of the sums paid if the cancellation takes place between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.
- If the cancellation takes place less than 6 days before the scheduled arrival date, no refund is provided.
In the event of cancellation of a reservation by the Hotel, the Hotel undertakes to return all sums paid by the customer.
4.2 Cases of force majeure:
By “case of force majeure” is meant any event beyond the control of the Hotel and presenting an unforeseeable and insurmountable character making it impossible to carry out all or part of the services reserved by the customer with the hotel (climatic disaster, strike, riot, etc.).
Faced with a case of force majeure, the hotel cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the said services.
4.3 Amendment:
Reservation modification requests are subject to Hotel availability and may incur additional charges.
5. HOTEL STAY
5.1 Arrivals and departures:
Arrival and departure times are specified when booking. Additional charges may apply for late departures not previously authorized.
5.2 Behavior :
Guests are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the Hotel, particularly with regard to behavior and use of the facilities.
6. HOTEL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Hotel undertakes to provide the reserved services in accordance with the standards in force and to ensure the safety of property and people as far as possible.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Hotel declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft, damage or injury suffered by customers, except in the event of gross negligence on its part.
8. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The personal data collected during the reservation will be processed in accordance with the Hotel’s privacy policy. Learn more about the Privacy Policy.
9. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These T&Cs are governed by the laws in force in Indonesia. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Indonesia.
By booking via the Hotel’s website, the customer acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these T&Cs.
